Lincoln-Way Youth Strings is a youth orchestra program comprised of four ensembles: Beginning, Cadet, Concert, and Chamber Orchestra. This program is designed to give area students the educational opportunity to learn the violin, viola, cello, or bass in an orchestral setting. Students participate in multiple concerts a year, with opportunities for chamber music, solo performances, and collaborations with professional musicians and the other fine arts. The program is open to all children, with or without prior playing experience, including those studying privately. The LWYS program is proud supporter of our area public school orchestra programs and private music school string programs. We hope you will join us!
